This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, how DividedSea Limited, trading as Tenabl ("we", "us"), uses them on tenabl.app (the "Website"), and the choices you have. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy. It covers the Website only; the Tenabl app and WhatsApp service are covered by the Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your computer or mobile device when you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, remember your preferences, or collect information about how you use a site. Cookies set by the site you are visiting are "first-party cookies"; cookies set by anyone else are "third-party cookies". They can be "session" cookies, deleted when you close your browser, or "persistent" cookies, which remain until they expire or you delete them.
2. The cookies we may use
We and our service providers may use the following categories of cookies and similar technologies on the Website:
- Necessary or essential cookies. These make the Website work and keep it secure, for example remembering your cookie choice, supporting the beta access form, or protecting against fraudulent traffic. They do not require consent and cannot be switched off through the banner.
- Preference cookies. These remember choices you make, such as language or display settings, so you do not have to set them again on each visit.
- Analytics cookies. These help us understand how visitors use the Website, for example which pages are read most, so we can improve it. Set only with your consent.
- Marketing cookies. These would support advertising or campaign measurement. We do not currently plan to use them; if we ever do, they would be set only with your consent.
When you first visit, a banner lets you accept or reject non-essential cookies. Your choice is stored on your device so the Website can respect it on later visits, and you can change your mind at any time by clearing your browser data for this site, after which the banner appears again. Non-essential cookies are set only if you accept.
3. Third-party requests that are not cookies
The Website loads its typefaces from a third-party font service, and the beta access form is delivered to us by our hosting provider. These are network requests, not cookies: the services involved receive the technical data needed to handle each request, including your IP address. See our Privacy Policy for how that data is handled.
4. Keeping this policy current
As the Website evolves, the specific cookies in use may change. When we introduce a new cookie we update this policy, and any non-essential cookie is set only after you consent through the banner. Questions about what is active at any time: legal@tenabl.app.
5. Managing cookies in your browser
Beyond the banner, you can control and delete cookies through your browser settings: block all cookies, delete existing ones, or get a warning before a cookie is stored. Instructions live in your browser's help pages, for example under "Manage cookies" in Safari, Chrome, Firefox or Edge. Blocking necessary cookies may affect how websites work.
